Ferdie and I were in Ali Mall, Cubao. We watched Matrix Reloaded. It was cool. Loved the fight scenes. I admit the dialogue was a bit much, but it wasn't all that complex as some made it out to be. I guess the only thing I didn't like was that it was so inconclusive -- prime makings for Matrix 3.
It's been raining a lot here. I get to see the sun maybe an hour every day, if I'm lucky. I'm running out of short-sleeved shirts. Yeah, I know I should buy something, but I haven't found anything worth buying yet. By the end of the day, I should have bought at least two more shirts. I hope. Still looking for that bargain.

Ferdie and I met up with a bunch of my high school classmates. Liza, Romar, Leinad, Pete, Joanne, Valerie, Davey...Did I leave anyone out? I hope not. Anyway, we met up at Starbucks G4, and then went for drinks at a place called Au Bar. I went a little overboard with the drinks, but I did want to get drunk. I had a Sex on the Beach, a margarita, and a glass of Blue Illusion. I was feeling pretty dazed by the time Ferdie and I decided to go home.
Veron knows I'm here. Romar didn't know that we were planning to surprise her for her birthday. He called her and told her that he was out with all of us, and he listed our names. When Veron heard my name, she was all, "Ann???? Which Ann?????" Romar passed me the phone, and I said hello. Heiress was with Veron, and now Heiress has plans for Romar's unfortunate demise. Poor Romar. It's not his fault. After all, he didn't know. So much for the surprise.
Romar's in the Air Force, and he was kind enough to treat us all to drinks at the bar. Everyone started grilling Evelio about his army life, combat, and dealing with the grimmer aspects of his career. Liza's working her way up the so-called pharmaceutical ladder. Leinad is still studying at Ateneo with one more year of law school left.
JP said she'll strangle Julius for the stupid prank he played on me. Julius texted me, "Ann, this is Juls. JP's in the hospital." I started panicking, asking "What? Why? What happened?" And then Julius texted back (forgive me if I said this wrong), "Natulon niya ang sapatos ko." Grrrrrr.....that was NOT funny.
