Joy is one of the four candidates for Miss DCI. Miss DCI won't be chosen until July of 2003. The winner is not chosen by looks or achievements but by the amount of money raised for the organization. We will have to solicit funds, sell advertising space, and sell tickets.
During the induction dinner, there was an introduction of Miss DCI candidates. Since Joy's still in London, I had to represent her. I felt horribly under-dressed in my slacks. But it was comforting to know the other girls were as nervous as I was.
